Children’s everyday life involves a series of dangers. The unique method for minimizing such risks, initiates by informing kids to recognize them at the earliest possible stage and consequently prepare them to face these threats effectively.

 Those additional informative and educational programs for primary school children regarding the dangers that threaten them became part of the core training program, alongside to their traffic education.

Furthermore, the road safety program was enriched with the interactive edification of students on additional road safety issues, alongside to their basic experiential training.

• Dangers around us. Superior officers of the Hellenic Police implement the program: Students trained in the recognition and the necessary manipulations for dealing with risks such as: Home alone, emergency phone call-100, approaching/harassment by unknown/known people, domestic/ interfamily violence, harassing telephone calls, firecracker/fireworks, theft/robbery.

• The Fire Risks. Superior officers of the Greek Fire Department implement the program: Students trained in recognizing and properly handling the risks: smoke or fire display, use of electric appliances, fire on my clothes, fire at home, using fire extinguishers, emergency phone call-199, fire vehicle / equipment demonstration.

• The dangers of the sea. Superior officers of the Hellenic Coast Guard implement the program: Conditions and prerequisites for safe swimming, third party drowning risk, boats-motor boats, life jackets, sea games, exhaustion / cramp.

• Fisrt aid. Volunteer nurse/rescue team implement the program: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) procedures -for higher school classes- Cleaning/Disinfecting/Further actions when dealing with superficial injuries for lower school classes.

Ø I love safely. Executives of the Hellenic Filozoiki Company implemented the program: When and how we approach stray animals, proper behavior, health and safety issues and pet support obligations

Successfully completed additional education elementary school children for the period of autumn 2012.

Besides programs Greek Police (The risks around us), the Fire Brigades (The risks of fire) and the Volunteer Nurses (First Aid) implemented for the first time in Spring 2012 and Fall 2012 were repeated in the current period were made further and the following programs:

Executives of Greek Animal Welfare Society implemented the program:

Executives Association of protection and care Wildlife Anima implemented the program:

•  City and wildlife. Recognition-discrimination wildlife in urban and suburban fabric, actions (setting appropriate and to avoid manipulations) where entrapment / abandonment / injury. 

Officers of the Traffic Department of Aghia Paraskevi implemented the program:

•  Certainly circulation. Informing students in relation to the risks they face as drivers / pedestrians / passengers view a training video, demonstration and experiential manipulation of children equipment such as radar Traffic recording vehicle speed and alcohol meter. 

 All these projects were carried out during the visit of the schools in the Road Safety Park in Nea Makri, in parallel with the main road safety program.

We renew our date for Spring 2013 with the repetition and the addition of new significant other prestigious institutions and reliability.
